Jully Kamollo is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with 9 years practice experience in tax, employment, data protection, company and gender law. She is the managing partner at Kamollo-Mwalo & Associates LLP and the brains behind "The Legal Tank".
She is a member of the the Law Society of Kenya, the Institute of Certified Secretaries, the Data Privacy and Governance Society of Kenya and the Dispute Resolution Hub. She serves the Law Society of Kenya as a member of the Tax Committee and is also part of the Ad hoc Committee tasked with drafting the Tax Appeals Tribunal Rules.
Jully is a certified public secretary, certified professional mediator, tax agent, trainer, facilitator, notary public and commissioner for oaths. She is passionate about writing and is an aspiring thought leader of her generation.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Tax and Customs Administration from Moi University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law and an LLB from Moi University.
Jully has a demonstrable background in compliance with a bias towards risk management. Her focus in practice is strategic conflict management, gender mainstreaming, data protection, corporate governance, tax and employment advisory.
She has participated in the analysis and impact assessment of key legislations and policies such as the Huduma Bill, the Public Benefit Organization Act, the Finance Acts and the ILO Violence and Harassment Convention; on behalf of stakeholders in these sectors.
An achievement she's proud of, is being the first person in the country to publish about Exchange of Information.
